01 — About
Bihar has the demand side of fintech solved — adoption here is among the fastest in India. What it has lacked is the supply side: the founders, capital, talent and policy channels that turn a market into an industry.
That gap is what we exist to close. We convene the people who can build it, and we make sure they are in the room when the state's digital finance agenda is written.
See what we runMentorship, product review and go-to-market support for fintech startups from Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya and beyond.
A standing bridge between Bihar founders and angels, VCs, banks and NBFCs — plus help navigating state seed funding.
A single, credible industry voice in front of regulators and the state on licensing, compliance and digital finance rules.
Workshops, certifications and campus programmes that give Bihar the payments, risk and engineering bench it needs.
Our mandate
To make Bihar a place where a fintech company can be founded, funded, staffed and scaled — without its founders having to leave the state to do it.

Bihar FinTech City is a state-backed integrated financial and technology hub being developed on roughly 242 acres near Fatuha, Patna, modelled on GIFT City. It is planned to host banks, insurers, fintech startups, IT firms, R&D centres and incubators. The association is working to place its members among its first tenants.
Students, startup founders, working professionals, researchers, banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, incubators and technology companies with an interest in fintech can all apply. Membership runs in three tiers: Individual, Startup and Institution.
There is no fee to apply. Ongoing membership terms vary by tier — Individual membership is designed to stay accessible to students, while Institution membership carries a contribution that funds the association’s programmes.
